Get in touch todaySuper Swim Academy took life in 2007 after our Company Director, Lindsey’s first lovely boy Jake was born. Lindsey and her wife and business partner Claire have since been blessed with three beautiful boys! Having been passionate about swimming all her life and enjoying coaching youngsters to swim as a hobby at the local pool, Lindsey decided to take her joy of the water to another level and so the company began. Fifteen years on and having taught thousands of people of all ages to swim, “Super Swim Academy and Super Baby Splashers” is going from strength to strength. Keen to promote a healthy lifestyle, exercise and a love of the water, Lindsey’s passion has now seen her taking on the North Sea doing open water swimming, paddleboarding and regularly riding the waves on her bodyboard in her home town of Scarborough! Due to the pandemic and pools being forced to close the team decided to expand our knowledge and develop the business in a new direction and so Soulful Swimming was born. The company now has 2 fully qualified Open Water Swimming coaches and 2 British Canoe certified Paddleboard Coaches to help drive the business forward in this exciting and ever expanding market.
We also invested in purchasing an Endless Pool which is at our home to create the perfect learning environment for our extremely popular 1 to 1 and 1 to 2 lessons. Thankfully, you’ll find our pool facilities much warmer than the North Sea but there’s never a better time to embrace the cold water and the benefits it bring to both body and mind! As fully qualified ASA and STA teachers, our dedicated team of teachers now run group classes and 1 to 1 and 1 to 2 lessons at our private Endless Pool facility helping people of all ages learn to swim. Our youngest member is 8 weeks old and our oldest 80 years young, proving you are never too young or too old to learn to love the water. Super Swim Academy, Super Baby Splashers and Soulful Swimming will help all our customers, whatever age or ability feel confident in the water but most importantly of all…have FUN in the water!
